The legendary RPG still enjoys the interests of fans. Tens of thousands of mods confirm this. Until recently, however, Skyrim, which was heavily edited, couldn’t play properly in 4K on anything.
However, with the arrival of the RTX 4090, times have changed. I remember the days when I had a GTX 770 with 2GB of memory, and it probably wasn’t enough to get around the changes. Switching to a GTX 970 and then a GTX 980 gave me better options. And when I bought a GTX 1070 with 8GB the other day, I thought, how can nothing stop me from beautifying Skyrim to the skies. But somewhere. Just loading 2-4K textures, item mods, city expansions, some ENBs and 60 FPS in 4K is just a wet dream. It should be noted that the performance was rather helped by the arrival of Skyrim Special Edition, which greatly rejuvenated the ancient program. Even so, it was true that with a sufficient investment of time, any set could be placed on the blades.
However, this is no longer the case with the RTX 4090 in conjunction with a suitable processor. This behemoth with brutal performance and 24GB of memory can consume Skyrim with fourteen hundred mods like nothing and produces 60 stable frames in 4K. For this RTGI (Ray Tracing Global Illumination) is also used, which also consumes some performance. And best of all, the visual aspect is amazing and you can try it for yourself. Of course, you don’t need to download each mod individually, it’s available edit list (The Phoenix Flavor – Dragon’s Edition) and installation guide. So, back to Skyrim?
