A young woman from the Hungarian town of Vecsés started eating raw meat and eggs and decided to share how she felt a year after the start of the experiment, writes The Mirror.
The 25-year-old butcher and chef Nicolette Keys suffered from polycystic ovary syndrome and digestive problems. For this purpose she sought medical help. The diet recommended by the specialist suggested the consumption of 160 grams of carbohydrates per day.
Unfortunately, the new menu did not help her cope with health problems and the Hungarian decided to switch to raw meat.
The young woman claims that she has been feeling great ever since.
In general, Nicolette eats twice a day, skipping breakfast. Sometimes, when she gets sick of something sweet and fragrant, she eats fruits and vegetables.
“I eat raw onions and garlic if I want more flavor, and blueberries, raspberries and strawberries if I want something sweet,” she says.
Her husband, 27-year-old truck driver Roland Keys, supports her, even though he himself does not eat raw meat. “However, he eats a lot of steaks that I prepare for him. What man would refuse to eat a steak every day?” The Hungarian asks.
To meet her nutritional needs, she spends about 70 euros a week on fresh raw meat, which she buys from small suppliers.
Nicolette thinks that raw meat is much easier to digest. She consumes various meat products – liver, heart, brain. However, what he loves the most are breasts.
Despite traditional beliefs that such a diet is unhealthy, Nicolette is not worried about the potential risk of food poisoning.
