A new set of images from an architecture firm proves Apple’s campus designs have changed just like the design of its actual products.
The images show some of the interior and exterior designs seen at Apple’s legacy Infinite Loop campus in Cupertino, California. Apple used the Infinite Loop campus from 1993 until 2017, when it began moving operations to Apple Park.

“An industry pioneer, Robin Weckesser led the design and construction of several domestic and international projects for Apple, including Apple’s corporate headquarters and Infinite Loop R&D campus in Cupertino, CA,” the website reads.

Compared to Apple’s current office designs, the Infinite Loop campus aesthetic feels a lot less modern. There is hardly a trace of the company’s current minimalist industrial design language. For example, some photos show interesting prints and colorful fabrics on the furniture.

While Apple is no longer headquartered in Infinite Loop, the company still uses the campus for office and laboratory space. Apple Park is about an eight-minute drive from the old campus.

As with Apple’s current corporate headquarters, the company claims an Apple Store location at One Infinite Loop, which sells both Apple hardware and souvenirs. It is the only part of the old headquarters that is open to the public.
