Within the framework of the Peace and Security Strategy 2024-2030 and as part of the fight against drug dealing in the state, military personnel from the 13th Military Zone carried out an important seizure of weapons, ammunition and illicit substances in the town of San Miguel , municipality of Acaponeta.
During a ground reconnaissance in the vicinity of said town, the military elements assured what following:
Vehicle: 1 Jeep Cherokee.
Armament: 1 long weapon.
Ammunition: 408 cartridges.
Magazines: 4 firearm magazines.
Illicit substances: 38 marijuana wrappers, 1 nylon bag with bulk marijuana, 61 glass wrappers and 1 nylon bag with pills.
Tactical equipment: 2 tactical vests and 1 fittings.
The vehicle, weapons, ammunition, substances and tactical equipment seized were placed at the disposal of the competent authorities for the corresponding investigations.
