On the evening of December 15, reports began to appear online that TCC and SBU officers visited an elite Kiev restaurant. There were also reports that those liable for military service were being given summonses. In the press service of the SBU 24 Channel told what was happening.

Conduct counter-sabotage security measures
As noted in the press service of the SBU, employees of the institution together with departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Migration Service in Kyiv carry out counter-sabotage security measures.
As part of the inspection of public institutions, which is taking place for the third day in a row, persons potentially involved in illegal activities are being checked,

The SBU also noted that representatives of the TCC in parallel carry out inspections of Ukrainian citizens liable for military service. They identify those who may violate military registration rules.

Why are subpoenas served more actively?
This question was answered by the speaker of the Poltava Regional TCC Roman Istomin. He explained that this is due to non-compliance with military registration rules. According to Istomin, during the targeted notification – apartment by apartment – it was discovered that many citizens were violating accounting rules. They do not inform in a timely manner that they have changed their place of residence.
It was this factor that became the key to the start of alerts at checkpoints and on the streets, something that citizens don’t like so much. Even if it is private, it is still a public place by definition. Therefore, the TCC together with the police enter there without any permission,
– says the speaker of the regional TCC.
At the same time, Istomin recalled that the summons that is handed to the TCC during notification is call to the TCC to clarify military registration data. At the same time, he added that there are very few volunteers. Therefore, TCC employees also mobilize unmotivated men.
