The long-awaited match between TFC and FC Nantes, scheduled for Sunday February 11 at the Toulouse Stadium, is classified as a “risky match” by the National Division for the Fight against Hooliganism (DNLH), informs the Haute-Garonne prefecture.
Security measures for this TFC-FC Nantes
As a result, exceptional security measures will be implemented. The Stadium security command post will be activated in the presence of security and emergency services. Toulouse Métropole will provide a crisis room in the event of a major incident. Also, the TFC will put in place anti-intrusion and anti-projection devices on the ground.
The movement of FC Nantes supporters will be strictly controlled, with access to the Stadium authorized only to holders of tickets delivered at a fixed meeting point. And a travel ban in the city center of Toulouse will be in force from Saturday February 10 at 2 p.m. to Monday 12 at 6 a.m. for anyone claiming to be a supporter of FC Nantes. Finally, firecrackers and smoke bombs will be prohibited in this area.
The Nantes Supporters Collective will not make the trip
Before the announcement of these measures, the Nantes Supporters Collective has already decided not to make the trip to Toulouse. He deplores the constraints imposed by the authorities. The number of supporters in visitor parking is limited to 150, transport must be by bus with a mandatory meeting point, and a meeting point is required for an escort to the Toulouse Stadium. Restrictions that the collective refuses to follow.
In solidarity, FC Nantes will not organize trips for supporters, thus depriving the team of the encouragement of its faithful. Currently, Toulouse occupies 12th place in the Ligue 1 championship with 20 points, ahead of Nantes, 14th, with only one point less.
