On the night of Sunday, September 1, 2024, a terrible event occurred inside the San Diego Transmilenio station. It turns out that a security guard murdered a man who apparently hacked into the system.

It all started when the security guard was on duty at the Transmilenio station. A citizen entered the system without paying, which caused an altercation.
Man killed in Transmilenio allegedly took out a sharp weapon
According to Colonel Edwin Díaz, an inspection officer for the Metropolitan Police of Bogotá, the subject who sneaked into Transmilenio pulled out a sharp weapon and the security guard disarmed him.
The colonel mentioned that “The security guard confronted him and a fight broke out. Later, the person who tried to enter pulled out a sharp weapon, the security guard disarmed him and caused an injury that caused his death.”

According to Blu Radio, the guard was arrested by the police of the quadrant and placed at the disposal of the competent authorities.
