The course begins with the development of a secure password strategy as the basis for all IT security. Participants learn how to create robust passwords, manage them in password managers and secure them with two-factor authentication and passkeys. A well-thought-out password strategy prevents a compromised account from directly endangering the security of other systems. The subsequent webinar gives admins a clear first overview of the topics of data encryption, digital signatures and certificates.
Become an encryption professional with in-depth webinars
The following three webinars build on the basis of the first webinars and deepen the knowledge gained there. The focus is initially on data encryption using symmetric and hybrid methods, for example to secure entire hard drives or file containers.
Digital signatures guarantee the authenticity and integrity of signed PDFs or emails on the Internet. The second in-depth webinar therefore focuses on signatures in accordance with the eIDAS regulation on electronic identification and trust services. This also includes the use of signature cards. Finally, our expert turns his attention to digital certificates. These serve as proof of identity on the Internet and thus create trust between business partners in digital communication. Participants will learn, for example, how to apply for and validate SSL and signature certificates.
