Security Employee Imprisoned for Horrific Crime: Throwing Fire Water at Niece’s Husband and Child

The Public Prosecution in Giza, south of Cairo, ordered the imprisonment of a security employee in a private company, after he committed a horrific crime by throwing fire water at his niece’s husband and her child, causing them severe burns.

The security services received a notification from the burns department at Qasr Al-Aini Hospital that they had received a father and his 4-year-old child, who were severely burned as a result of an incendiary substance being thrown at them.

It turned out that the injured was called Ibrahim Abdel Salam, a scrap worker residing in the Awsim area, north of Giza, and his son, the child Ezz, and the father accused his wife’s uncle, who was called Arafa Mahmoud, who was arrested and referred to the Public Prosecution.

“Sky News Arabia” contacted the injured husband, who stated that “the cause of the incident was normal disagreements with his wife.”

Abdel Salam recounted the full details of the crime, saying:

10 days ago, there was a repeated dispute with my wife, so she left the house and went to her family. When she called her father, who resides in the Mit Oqba area (Giza Governorate), he confirmed that she had not come to his house and that he did not know anything about her. A few days later, her uncle (the accused) called me and demanded that I go to his house in Auseem because my wife is with him, and he demanded that I come to collect my two children, Ezz and Salma (one year old). I went and as soon as I was standing in front of her uncle’s house, I was surprised by him coming out and throwing fire water at me, and at the same moment my child was running towards me and he was also seriously injured.
