The La Tabla portal, specialized in data and investigative journalism, denounced on June 26 that the director of citizen security of the El Hatillo municipality, Javier Gorriño, stated last Monday 22 on his Twitter account that President Nicolás Maduro had violated the decree of Social isolation to attend a party in the Los Naranjos urbanization.
“Be careful, the patrolmen and the supervisor tell me that at the party in Sur, three of Los Naranjos, they cannot do anything because the Military House is found and they indicate that the first president is here,” reads the tweet published by Gorriño at 8:20. on the night of June 22.
According to what was collected by La Tabla, later, the official deleted the publication and justified his action, arguing that his account had been “hacked«.
However, despite the excuse made by the former officer of the Technical Judicial Police (PTJ), the publication went viral, which is why the 43rd Court of the Caracas Metropolitan Area issued a capture order against him at the instigation of hatred.
It is not the first time that Gorriño uses his account on this social network to spread false information regarding presidential participation in saraos. According to the portal mentioned, in a trill of August 2018, he also stated that “people of the presidency” they had attended a party that took place in Alto Hatillo.
That source points out that the current director of citizen security in El Hatillo is often consulted by anti-Chavez media as an expert on security issues, because he served as director of security for PoliMiranda during Henrique Capriles Radonsky’s tenure.
Additionally, the Table reveals that it maintains links with those who have been police chiefs of the municipalities Chacao, Baruta and El Hatillo for the last twenty years, underlining that these characters “respond to the guidelines of figures such as ex-commissioner Iván Simonovis, a fugitive a year ago.”
Finally, they add that Gorriño usually shares information on Twitter from the Israel State Defense Forces “with an undeniable tone of admiration.”
