Security Camera Captures Violent Robbery in The Bronx – NBC New York

NEW YORK – Amid a wave of violence engulfing New York City, police are looking for two suspects linked to two robberies in the Manhattan area.

During the first incident, which occurred on April 25 at around 3:05 am, between 9th Avenue and West 203 Street, a 35-year-old man and a 40-year-old man were ambushed by a group of suspects.

Security video shows one of the suspects knocking down one of the victims with a forceful punch, while the second is held a short distance away at gunpoint and moments later is thrown to the ground like a doll.

The suspects stripped the men of a chain, two rings, a belt, glasses, $1,320 in cash, an iPhone 13 and identification, according to authorities.

The 35-year-old man was rendered unconscious and suffered pain and bruising to his head. The 40-year-old victim developed facial swelling.

Both victims were treated by paramedics at the scene.

Minutes later, the suspects attacked a 20-year-old woman in the same area as she was sitting in a Totoya Camry in front of 431 West 202 Street.

Police said one of the suspects pulled out a gun and demanded his belongings.

The group removed the girl’s purse, which contained $250 worth of Airpods, identification, keys, a bank card and a wallet. Fortunately, the victim was not injured.

According to the ongoing investigation, Angel Pimentel, 29, of the Bronx, was arrested and charged on May 5.

Police said they released security video showing the suspects in the robberies. If you have information, you can confidentially call 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
