Hubbali: Security breach during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow in Karnataka’s Hubbali. The young man crossed the security fence and tried to garland the Prime Minister. Video footage of the incident has been released. He is also seen being grabbed by the security personnel in the video.
Modi was on his way from the airport to the venue of the National Youth Festival. Meanwhile, a young man was running towards the vehicle in which Modi was traveling with a garland. As security personnel intervened, he could not garland Modi. But the Prime Minister took the garland from his hand and threw it on top of the vehicle.
The Prime Minister will inaugurate the National Youth Festival at the Railway Sports Ground in Hubballi. Karnataka Chief Minister Baswaraj Bommai, Governor Thavarchand Gehlot, Union Ministers Prahlad Joshi and Anurag Singh Thakur will also participate in the event.
