«Securities» launches the electronic version of the service for disbursing unclaimed profits

The Securities and Commodities Authority launched the electronic version of the service for paying unclaimed shares in local public joint-stock companies registered before March 2015, in collaboration with Banca Ciad Abu Dhabi, which will undertake the process of paying dividends to shareholders.

The authority, in a statement, said that the aim of launching the electronic version is to diversify the channels so that the public can access the service, and access their profits faster and more effective, according to the intentions of the wise. government, which aims to raise the quality of government services to the highest levels of excellence in the world and to meet expectations and needs.

The service allows shareholders to submit their claims and track them at any time through the First Abu Dhabi Bank website, which will check the claim and transfer the profits to the shareholder’s account within ten working days of submitting the application and completing all the necessary documents. .

Shareholders using the service must attach the necessary documents, which include a copy of the Emirates ID (for citizens and residents), a copy of the passport (for non-residents are not citizens), a certificate from the bank showing the shareholder’s account number and IBAN, share certificates, invitations to general assemblies, or any other documents Confirm ownership of shares (if any).

The Authority confirmed that it would continue its efforts to work to enable shareholders to access their unpaid dividends by March 2015 on time.
