Capital of Norway, created in 2018 by Nacho Marijuan and Iñigo Merino, continues with its expansion plan and now adds its third office after Bilbao and Zaragoza. In particular, the brokerage firm begins its new phase in Madrid with the incorporation of Mercedes Calderón Hurtado de Sarachowho will lead the office together with her sister Teresa Calderón Hurtado de Saracho.
Mercedes has been in the financial sector for over 17 years. Before joining Norwealth, from 2015 Mercedes joined one of the main agents of bankinter as Investment Director and Head of Institutional Clients among other positions. She started her professional career in cooperativemanager of Banco Cooperativo Español, performs investment fund management and administration tasks, as well as regulatory and reporting duties
A Law graduate from the Complutense University of Madrid, Mercedes holds a Masters in Stock Exchange and Financial Markets from the IEB, as well as various business analysis and valuation programs taught by the Options&Futures Institute.
For her part, Teresa comes from The French where he was responsible for the Sales & Client support department for Iberia, Latam and Middle East, a position he has held since 2016 developing, among other things, Market Intelligence and legal and compliance duties. Previously, he held the position of head of the Marketing and Communication department within the French manager.
Teresa has a degree in Marketing Policy and a Masters in Business Management from the Camilo José Cela University and has the Certificate in Financial Consulting issued by the AFI School of Finance.
Norwealth currently has a team of 22 professionals after the arrival of Mercedes and Teresa spread across its three offices and hopes to boost the squad soon with new additions.
