Exolum (formerly CLH) inaugurated in December 2020 a secure parking lot for trucks in the Port of Barcelona. Under the name of Yubick, it is the first of a series of technological car parks that they hope to open in different locations in Spanish territory.
Exolum was created as a subsidiary of the CLH Group, to channel a series of initiatives related to development, technological innovation and the environment. But, for a few weeks, The CLH Group is no longer called that and its current name is Exolum.
One of the new activities of Exolum is the safe parking of trucks under the Yubick brand. The first of them is already in operation, in the Port of Barcelona, in the heart of the free trade zone, in front of the Exolum (formerly CLH) facilities at Passeig de Cantunis, 74.
As safe truck parking, The entire perimeter is closed, the entrances have 24-hour video surveillance and the truck that has reserved a place can only access by checking the reading of the license plate automatically thanks to a QR code generated by the application when making the reservation.
Because the reservation can be made through the application available for Android and iOS and can be done by time slots or by months. The driver has a shower, toilets, vending machines, dining room, 24-hour staff presence and the possibility of leaving the private vehicle parked.
Access and parking is enabled for rigid, articulated trucks, trailers, platforms, vehicle carriers, tanks, ADR (except for certain extremely dangerous goods), even mega trucks or special transport trucks, although in these cases it is essential to make a prior consultation.
