SECTUR trains destination managers in Digital Marketing – Dependencies Bulletins

Silao, Guanajuato, July 8, 2021. With the participation of 40 directors, coordinators and / or heads of Tourism, administrators / analysts of social networks, Marketing specialists, heads of Promotion units and Public Relations executives from 24 municipalities, the virtual course “Digital Marketing for Destination Managers ”.

Within the framework of the state program for Training and Professionalization 2021 “Train yourself from Home”, the Secretariat of Tourism of the state of Guanajuato, through the Directorate of Competitiveness, and in coordination with the Secretariat of Sustainable Economic Development (SDES), launched for the first Once said course with a duration of 12 hours.

Hugo Ramírez Duarte, director of Tourism Competitiveness of SECTUR Guanajuato, pointed out that the entity, through tourism managers, seeks to raise the projection of destinations with tools aligned to current trends and instruments, generating -from digital strategies – Greater positioning of the products, routes, circuits and services available to each of the destinations.

The topics presented were: Current panorama of tourism companies, How to promote tourism services ?, What tools can I use ?, Marketing for non-marketers, Introduction to digital marketing, Understanding Penguin networks, Buyer Persona Panda, Content Grid Hummingbird.

The municipalities that participated are: Abasolo, Apaseo el Alto, Apaseo el Grande, Celaya, Comonfort, Coroneo, Cortazar, Cuerámaro, Guanajuato capital, Irapuato, Jerécuaro, León, Purísima del Rincón, Romita, Salamanca, San Diego de la Unión, San Felipe, San Francisco del Rincón, San José Iturbide, San Miguel de Allende, Tarandacuao, Tarimoro, Victoria and Yuriria.

In the state of Guanajuato, training is prioritized to increase the professionalization and competitiveness of the tourism sector and the entire value chain.
