According to Roberto W. Martínez Toledo, executive director of the Metro Region of the Water and sewage Authority (AAA), the breakage identified in the 72-inch diameter line, has affected the distribution of the drinking water service in sectors of Santurce, Condado, Miramar, Old San Juan, including Ave Isla Verde, Piñones, Hollywood Hills, Floral Park and low areas of Hato Rey.

In addition, with the closure of the distribution system during the repair works, the distribution system of the Fina Roso 2 Station is affected, which supplies the service to areas of the Eastern Region such as Caguas, Gurabo and Juncos.

The affected subscribers are the sectors of Cañaboncito, San Antonio, Parque de Monte, Hacienda San José, Las Carolinas, Valle Tolima, Idamaris Gardens, Caguas Norte, Bairoa, Tomas de Castro 1 and 2, Villas de Castro, Parque Las Mercedes, Santa Elvira, Caguax, Villa Guadalupe, the Guasábara, La Barra and La Mesa neighborhoods, as well as the upper parts of the Municipality of Caguas; Veredas urbanization, Sabanera del Río, El Encanto urbanization, Navarro neighborhood, Jaguar, highway 181, Rincón neighborhood, Mameyes neighborhood, Jaguas, Lomas and the urban area of ​​the Gurabo municipality.
