Danced to the elite, paid tribute to the racketeers
The once famous Kaunas restaurant “Žalias kalnas” was designed in 1969. It was loved by a select Soviet-era party and KGB-elite elite. Such famous Lithuanian pop performers of that time as Liutauras Čeprackas senior, Laima Žemaitytė, Birutė Petrikytė sang here. It is interesting that among the break dancers, Remigijus Daškevičius, known by the nickname Daškės, who was later considered the leader of one of the most famous criminal groups in Kaunas – Daškiniai – later appeared on the restaurant stage.
