– A Mexican doctor who took the vaccine with his family and vaccinated it as a’cut-off’ even though he was not eligible for the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) vaccination was investigated by the authorities.
Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said on the 30th (local time), “It was confirmed that a family member who was not vaccinated at a hospital in Mexico had an influence and received the vaccine.”
President Lopez Obrador said, “One doctor, his wife, and one or two daughters were unfairly vaccinated,” he said. “I will not say my name because an investigation to punish cheating has already started.”
He added, “Sitching is immoral. We must stop the evil habits.”
Earlier, local media raised suspicion that the doctor, an executive at a hospital in Mexico, had been vaccinated and even allowed his wife and daughter to get an injection, even though the corona19 patient was not treated on the front line.
In response, state health officials said that although there were some errors in the target identification system on the first day of vaccination, the doctor was considered for vaccination and that the family member did not know about vaccination.
Mexico began vaccination of the COVID-19 vaccine jointly developed by Pfizer in the United States and Bioentech in Germany on the 24th. Following the first 3,000 doses, an additional 42,900 doses were received on the 25th and administered to frontline medical staff first.
