Leuven – A family where one of the parents and the children are infected, but where the other parent seems to ‘escape’: it happens regularly, and experts often did not know why. So far, a study published Monday by Imperial College London seems to provide a possible explanation as to why some are more protected against Covid-19 than others. “This opens up the possibilities for second-generation vaccines,” says virologist Johan Neyts (KU Leuven).
