‘Secret summit meeting of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Saudi Crown Prince’ | Abroad

According to flight data from a government aircraft, the prime minister, along with Mossad intelligence chief Yossi Cohen, would have spent several hours in the Arab kingdom, Israeli media said. The northwest of that country is only 20 kilometers away from the Israeli port of Eilat.

The governments of the countries involved have not revealed anything about the meeting, but an Israeli minister confirmed on Monday that it did take place.

The secret summit would have been in the construction project of the future megacity of Neom. Main topics of conversation would have been a possible normalization of relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel and issues related to Iran.

Two Arab Gulf states, Bahrain and the UAE (United Arab Emirates), have recently established relations with Israel on the basis of US diplomacy.
