Freek Jansen was well aware of the Nazi apps that JFvD’ers sent each other in their app groups. This is evidenced by secret recordings made during the crisis meeting of the FvD top in Van der Valk in Tiel, which are in the hands of De Telegraph. In addition, a similar investigation has already been conducted into the abuses within the youth association.
Ex-VVD member Wybren van Haga can be heard on the recordings: “I soon noticed that research had already been done. […] The report turned out to be already there. ”
In fact, steps had already been taken in response to the report. Some youth members have been expelled from the party, including ‘the wrong Ruben’. One Ruben H., the one who would have expressed his sympathy for National Socialism to his heart’s content in all kinds of expressions, was able to go to work for the FvD parliamentary party after the storm had blown over.
“Nobody knew that it was Ruben who had sent the messages,” says Van Haga. Except Freek Jansen. “Apparently Freek does”, admits Van Haga. “This is one of the things that makes you wonder: have you taken responsibility in your functioning as chairman of JFvD. That then rubs. ”
Salient about these revelations is that Baudet was criticized for not intervening hard enough, when the facts were already known. But Baudet insisted that the investigation had to be calmly awaited and that the criticism was far too premature.
That’s why Tisjeboy Wybren So now find out whether those who were responsible for the youth department, such as Freek Jansen, handled the case properly: ”Did it all go well? Is it culpable? How are we going to organize it so that it doesn’t happen again? ”
It almost seems as if Annabel Nanninga sensed this too when she decided not to wait for the internal ‘investigation’ and to throw the bat in the boreal pen.
