Seconds of UI students killed by retired Pajero police car

University of Indonesia (UI) students., Muhammad Hasya Attalah Syaputra (18), died following a traffic accident in South Jakarta. Hasya was allegedly shot by a retired police officer with the initials ESBW.

The incident took place on October 6, 2022. At that time, the victim was riding a motorcycle with a friend in Srengseng Sawah area of ​​South Jakarta after finishing his campus activities.

“He rode a motorcycle home to retirement, a motorcade with his friends. Suddenly it seemed that someone had crossed to the right, then the deceased brake suddenly, it kept heading to the right,” the victim’s father, Adi Syaputra, said when contacted on Saturday (26/11/2022).

The victim who lost control then fell to the right of the roadway. Unfortunately, at the same moment, a Pajero car driven by ESBW appeared and ran over the victim.

“He threw it to the right, there was a car ahead, that Pajero car (accident),” he said.

Retired police refuse to take victims to hospital

Adi admitted that his son had been lying on the side of the road for 30 minutes. According to Ady, retired policeman does not immediately take the victim to the hospital.

The ambulance arrived only 30 minutes after the accident. The victim later died in hospital.

Adi admitted he was disappointed by the attitude of the retired police officer who did not apologize to him after he fatally shot his son.

“So when we went to the hospital, we met, I asked which one accident yes, but its nature truly like an innocent person. She replied ‘I do accident‘ with his style,” Adi explained.

The case of the incident was then reported to the South Jakarta Metro Police on 7 October 2022. Till now, the police have not named a suspect.
