KLUNGKUNG, KOMPAS.com – Pilot and celebrity Athira Farina had a traffic accident on Jalan Dusun Pelilit, Nusa Penida, Klungkung, Bali, on Monday (15/2/2021) afternoon.
The white Toyota Rush car with the DK number 1861 ML was in flames and was badly damaged.
Head of Nusa Penida Police, AKP Made Sukadana, said the car was driven by I Kadek Arpan Arisangkara (23).
Then, two other passengers namely Komang Diahratnasari (25) and Athira Farina Putri.

“It is true, there was an accident and the Toyota Rush car was burning,” said Sukadana, when contacted, Wednesday (17/2/2021).
Initially, they were on their way from Bungamekar Village, to Atuh Beach in the Village of Pialautan, Nusa Penida.
Then, when they reached the section of Jalan Dusun Pelilit, the driver saw smoke coming out from under the steering wheel.
Then, as they walked down the sloping and turning road, the smoke grew in front of the dashboard.
The smoke made the driver panic and swerved to the left and hit a tree.
Luckily they were not seriously injured and managed to get out of the car to save themselves.
After that, a fire appeared and burned the entire car body.

“When it caught fire, all passengers including the driver / driver were already outside,” he said.
At around 13:19 WIT, the fire was put out by the Nusa Penida District Fire Service.
The loss in this accident was estimated at Rp. 280 million.
“There were no casualties and all passengers survived,” he said.
