Tim SAR exposing the crocodile moments in Mahakam River, Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan (East Kalimantan), ‘delivered’ the body of the toddler Muhammad Ziyad Wijaya (4) who drowned. The crocodile ‘delivered’ the boy’s body to the bank of the river by biting the victim’s back.

Melkianus explained that the person who first saw the crocodile carrying the boy’s body was the security company around the location. At that time, security saw a crocodile swimming with the victim’s body.
“That’s from the middle of the river, the crocodile swam about 200 meters away and then to the river bank,” he said.
While on the bank of the river, the crocodile drowned while carrying the victim’s body 3 times. The third time the crocodile released the boy’s body.
“On the riverbank, the crocodile initially drowned while carrying the victim’s body three times, now the third time the victim’s body appeared, while the crocodile had moved away,” he explained.
