Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
Mount Semeru, Lumajang, East Java, erupted and again spewed Hot Drop Clouds (APG) on Sunday (4/12).
This phenomenon forced the residents around Mount Semeru to flee.
The source of the hot cloud is from a pile at the tip of the lava tongue about 800 meters from Jonggring Saloko Crater.
The Center for Volcanology and Geological Disaster Mitigation (PVMBG) urges the public not to travel within a five-kilometer radius of the crater or abutment of Mount Semeru.
