JAKARTA, KOMPAS TV – Cai Changpan aka Cai Ji Fan, citizen China death row inmates over the case drugs Police are still being chased after successfully escaping from the Tangerang Class 1 Prison on Monday (14/9/2020).
Allegedly, the 53-year-old man was hiding in a forest in Tenjo, Bogor, West Java. Cai Changpan known to have escaped by making a sewer from his cell room for 8 months using building tools.
From the police search results, Cai Changpan allegedly assisted by two prison officers to build the culvert.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus said Cai Changpan had started digging holes in his cell room since February 2020. He used artisan tools such as shovels, iron, screwdrivers, chisels and earthen sacks.
It is believed that the tools used were obtained from construction workers working on the kitchen in the prison.
Incidentally the place where the kitchen was built was near his cell.
