Secondary scholarships: Students at the checkout starting this Wednesday Secondary scholarships: Students at the checkout starting this Wednesday

Libreville, Tuesday January 30, 2024 (Infos Gabon) – The assurances come from the Director General of the National Stock Exchange Agency of Gabon, Ruphin Ndjambou, at the end of an audience granted to him yesterday Monday by the Head of State, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema.

Fourteen years after their suspension, scholarships resurface in secondary education with their effective payment from this Wednesday. This support from the public authorities will only be paid to deserving Gabonese high school and college students who have obtained an average greater than or equal to 12/20 for those in the first cycle and 11/20 for those in the second cycle. Even students admitted to 6e are eligible for this grant. According to the Minister of National Education, Camélia Ntoutoume Leclercq, this scholarship concerns 38,633 students admitted in 6e who will be entitled to the said scholarship in the same way as 35,632 students registered in examination classes in both general and technical education.

At the end of the audience granted to him yesterday by President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, the director general of the National Scholarship Agency of Gabon (ANBG) wanted to reassure the public that these scholarships will be paid from this Wednesday, January 31 2024. “The payment of scholarships will be effective this Wednesday throughout the territory,” declared Ruphin Ndjambou.
