A fifteen-year-old boy from Dordrecht was arrested on Monday on suspicion of involvement in the death of a seventeen-year-old boy in Amsterdam. A suspect was also arrested on Sunday.
The victim was shot at the Haardstee in the southeast district of Amsterdam on Friday. The boy was so badly injured that he died instantly.
The prime suspect is sixteen years old and comes from Amsterdam. The second suspect arose on Monday afternoon at the police station. The two are limited. This means that they can only contact their lawyer.
Shortly after the shooting, two people were arrested, but it turned out they had nothing to do with the incident. According to various media, he was the brother and a friend of the victim.
Police received a report of the shooting at around 10.30pm on Friday. It is not yet clear exactly where it happened. Police are investigating whether it happened in a hall or a house, a spokesman says.
