The second State Kids Basketball Championship has started in Alappuzha. 28 teams representing different districts of Kerala are competing in both boys and girls category. This time the matches are being held in Alappuzha, who were the overall champions last time.

Alappuzha MLA PP Chittaranjan inaugurated the competitions. Alleppey Basketball Association District President Jacob Joseph presided over the function.
