The series tells the story of Emily Cooper (Collins), a marketing director who unexpectedly has to go to Paris for work because her boss is pregnant. In the French capital, she faces various challenges and tries to combine love, friends and her work as well as possible. The second series shows that she is more anchored in Paris, but still struggles with the idiosyncrasies of French life. After falling into a love triangle, she is determined to focus on her work.
