A sandstorm hit China for the second time in two weeks. The Central Meteorological Service of the PRC reports on March 28 that the disaster will affect Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Hebei, Liaoning provinces, as well as the capital Beijing and the city of Tianjin.
Most areas of Beijing will be affected by cold air, strong north winds are expected. The visibility is about a thousand meters. The storm will last more than 12 hours and will subside on Sunday night.
Recall that the concentration of particles during a storm in mid-March 160 times higher than the norm. The disaster led to severe traffic jams and canceled flights. Then meteorologists said that this is the strongest sandstorm in the last ten years.
