Work on the pedestrian area is entering a second phase with the development of rue Gambetta which will take place from May 15 to July 13, 2023.
To support the expanded pedestrian zone in the city center, driven by the Metropolitan Mobility Plan voted in November 2021 on an area ranging from Porte de la Craffe to Rue Saint-Nicolas, developments have been planned from April 24, they will last until fall.
To concretize the challenge of transforming the public space, the services of the City have chosen to breathe “a different atmosphere” on the rue des Dominicains, Pont Mouja to the beginning of the rue Saint-Nicolas with more of revegetation.
Phase 2 takes place from May 15 to July 13, 2023 with the development of rue Gambetta. Work that will result in the closure to traffic, however access for rights holders and deliveries will be maintained by Saint-Julien, Saint-Georges and Dominicains streets (in the opposite direction). Finally, the exit will be maintained by rue Pierre Fourier.
