The Swedish webshop Sellpy, owned by clothing chain H&M, is expanding to more than twenty countries, including Belgium. The store specialized in second-hand clothing announced this on Monday.

This makes Sellpy a new player in this fast-growing market. The Vinted app is already very popular and Zalando also announced earlier that Belgians can sell second-hand clothing via its platform. Especially the so-called millennials would be a fan of second-hand clothing.
Sellpy takes care of the entire sales process for the customer, from picking up the goods at home to photos, sales and delivery. The company was founded in Sweden in 2014 and is now active in 24 countries with this announced expansion. H&M now controls 70 percent of the shares and has invested more than 20 million euros in Sellpy, writes Reuters news agency.
