Already this Saturday, the Second Great Concert of Latvian Music will take place on the Mežaparka Grand Stage, which will bring together on one stage about a hundred local musicians of different musical genres, who will perform songs created by several generations of composers, which are included in the golden fund of Latvian music.
These are the compositions of the most popular Latvian composers and singers – beloved by the people, exciting and bright witnesses and companions of the era, as well as next to them – the values created during the last decades, which have already gained the recognition of the people.
Concert tickets are available on the website www.lielkoncerts.lv, as well as www.bilesuserviss.lv.
Children up to the age of 7 inclusive, admission to the concert accompanied by their parents is free.
Time plan of the event:

Gates 7, 6, 5 and 3 will be available for visitor entry.
Visitors to the fan zone and seats inside the event area at gates 5 and 4 will be able to receive wristbands to enter the special areas.
Gate 4 will be available for the entrance of TV3 VIP guests and media.
It will be prohibited to enter the event territory with bicycles, scooters, large-format bags, umbrellas, liquids, dangerous objects, glass and ceramic containers. It will be forbidden to bring professional photo / video equipment into the event area.
Strollers will be allowed to enter the event, but they are not allowed to be placed in the evacuation aisles, seating area or in the flow of visitors.
Visitors are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather and bring raincoats if necessary.
There will be sales at the venue.
Transports
On September 2, before and after the “Latvijas Mūzikas larga concert”, which will take place on Mežaparka’s Great Stage, the organizers of the event will finance additional trips of tram 11 on the route to Mežaparka and back.
Before the concert, starting from approx. 17.00, additional trips will be organized in the direction from Ausekļa Street to Mežaparks and starting at approximately At 17.48 trams will run with a 5-6 minute interval.
After the end of the concert (at approximately 11:30 p.m.), flights back to the center will be organized according to the flow of passengers (approximately with a 5-minute interval).
Concert visitors should take into account that parking personal cars in and near Mežapark will be difficult.

Full-length audio/video publication of songs in the media (including social network accounts) without permission is prohibited and considered a violation of copyright.
By coming to the event, the visitor agrees to be filmed and photographed. Recorded material may be broadcast, reproduced and distributed without restriction.
Smoking is prohibited on the territory of the event, except in specially designated places outside the spectator area. The ban on smoking applies to all types of cigarettes, incl. for e-cigarettes, vape, iqos, salt, etc.

The constellation of popular music will be represented at the concert by artists currently at the zenith of fame, such as Don, “Astro’n’out”, “Sudden Lights”, “Instrumenti”, Boo, “Citi zezeni”, “The Sound Poets”, “Mazais princis”, Aminata and Aija Andreeva, as well as popular music legends – “Jumprava”, “100th debut”, Georges Siksna and Igo. Fans of the hip-hop genre will be delighted by domestic rappers Gustavo, roland che and “Singapore satin”. The concert will combine the sounds of traditional music with modern improvisations. The Liepāja Symphony Orchestra under the leadership of conductor Jānis Ivuškānas, as well as the Riga Chamber Choir “Ave Sol” will take care of the symphonic scope of the concert, while DJ Monsta will give rhythmic accents to the compositions.
