Second Generation VW Amarok: Why Pay Extra for Higher Equipment | World of Motors Review

The technical specialist of the World of Motors tested the second generation VW Amarok straight away in two versions. Why is it better to pay extra?

While the first Volkswagen Amarok was a purebred concern product, in the second generation it has already arrived as a twin of the new Ford Ranger, with which it shares technique and technology. In a new video, Martin Vaculík, technical specialist of the World of Motors, decided to take a look at the result of this cooperation, but he did not stop at just one machine.

Two new pick-ups appear in the video. The gray Amarok arrived with the lower Life trim and the four-cylinder 2.0 Bi-TDI diesel engine, while the red Amarok offers the higher Style trim and above all the more powerful 3.0 V6 TDI diesel fork.

You can look forward to both a detailed look under the hood, including maintenance specifications, and a comparison of both engines on the brake and during a sprint at the airport. However, there will also be a look into the interior, where Martin will explain why he would rather pay extra for higher equipment.

In the last third, he will go to a limestone quarry in Radotín with a six-cylinder pick-up, where he will analyze the properties of the all-wheel drive system, talk about the ten-speed automatic transmission and give the new Amarok a good run in the dust and dirt.

In the bonus ending, there will also be a traditional jack, where Martin will show you in detail the robust frame, chassis components and all-wheel drive components. So you have something to look forward to again.
