The series produced by Picomedia in collaboration with Rai Fiction starring Giuseppe Fiorello, taken from a true story told in autobiographical novel by Gianfranco Franciosi.
The Devil’s Watches tells the story of a talented nautical engineer whose activity is tempting to a group of drug traffickers belonging to a Spanish cartel. The man decides to work with the police to stop the criminals and accepts the dangerous role of the infiltrator.
In the cast of the Fiction directed by Alessandro Angelini they also act Claudia Pandolfi, Alvaro Cervantes, Nicole Grimaudo, Fabrizio Ferracane, Carlos Librado, Alicia Borrachero, Marco Leonardi, Roberto Nobile, Ignasi Vidal e Gea Dall’Orto.
The Devil’s Watches: what happened in the episode of November 9th
In the first two episodes of The Devil’s Clocks aired on November 9, 2020, we have known Marco Merani, a great expert in engines on water with a past in off-shore racing and a present as a boat builder at the mouth of the Magra River. Even in his private life Marco is a lucky man, having a wife and daughter he loves. When one of his best customers is murdered, he discovers that the rafts he made for him were used to transport drugs.
Marco, thanks to the confidence that Aurelio demonstrates, accepts the invitation of his policeman friend and becomes the first civilian infiltrator in history. The thousand lies and the many displacements he is forced to create a growing tension with his wife, his father and his family. On top of that the attitude of Aurelio, who treats him almost like a brother, makes the commissioner suspicious Vexina.
The Fiction was supposed to air last week, but the sudden death of Gigi Proietti changed the Rai1 evening schedules. To recover, the second appointment with the two episodes of The Devil’s Watches it is therefore scheduled for the following evening.

The Devil’s Watches with Giuseppe Fiorello come back Tuesday 10th November with episodes 3 and 4.
It’s Christmas and Aurelio will visit Marco bringing him an expensive watch as a gift. The mechanic chases him badly, but Aurelio he warns him: he will not be able to get rid of him. The Italian police pushed him to continue the mission but Marco, who now can only count on his daughter, refuses. Caught, Marco manages to hush Aurelio who grants him his forgiveness and leads him to meet his wife and son who live hidden in a small island off the coast of Spain. Aurelio asks him to accompany him on a new load. The last, which will allow both of them to withdraw. Marco accept. As love explodes with Alessia, the mechanic prepares a boat capable of facing the ocean.
