Second Edition of Cultural Summer Camp at Casa de la Cultura in Puerto del Rosario

The activities will take place between July 10 and August 10 at the Casa de la Cultura in Puerto del Rosario


The City Council of Puerto del Rosario, through the Department of Culture directed by Enrique Soler and in collaboration with the music school ‘La Nueva Saga’, launched the second edition of the ‘Cultural Summer Camp’, designed for young people who want to enjoy an artistic environment during your summer holidays.

From July 10 to August 10, young participants between the ages of 11 and 16 will attend, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., dance, theater, music, literature, film, and circus classes, taught by professionals with extensive experience.

The mayor of the capital, David de Vera, and the Councilor for Culture and Youth, Enrique Soler, encourage the young people of the municipality to participate “in a camp that stands out for offering an alternative to traditional summer activities, giving children the opportunity to and girls to enjoy subjects as diverse as dance, literature or the circus”.

A total of 10 teachers will be in charge of giving the different workshops that the participants will attend. Among them, the music one that will have the presence of professionals of the stature of Toño Cairós, Ana Bello, Guillermo González and Domingo Saavedra. The dance classes will be run by Julia and Melisa; those of circus, taught by Yasiel and Stefy Faga; and Cinema and Literature and Theater, by the hand of Cristina Quesada and Lolo Alonso, respectively.
