Second dose of anticovid vaccine announced for 15 to 17 years; these are the venues

From Tuesday, January 11 to Saturday, January 15, the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine will be administered to adolescents aged 15 to 17 years residing in the 16 municipalities of Mexico City.

The inoculation will be carried out according to the first letter of the paternal surname of the beneficiary. From A to C, on January 11; from D to G, January 12; from H to M, January 13; from N to R, on January 14; and from S to Z, on January 15.

There will be eight vaccination centers that will be in operation: the Jaime Torres Bodet Cultural Center of the IPN, for the residents of Gustavo A. Madero and Azcapotzalco; Campo Marte, for those of Miguel Hidalgo and Cuajimalpa; Siglo XXI National Medical Center, for Cuauhtémoc and Benito Juárez; and the Palacio de los Deportes, for Iztacalco and Venustiano Carranza.

While for the inhabitants of Iztapalapa they will be able to go to the Center for Scientific and Technological Studies N ° 7 “Cuauhtémoc” IPN (Voca # 7); those of Xochimilco, Tlalpan and Tláhuac, to the National Preparatory School # 5 of the UNAM; those of Coyoacán, Magdalena Contreras and Álvaro Obregón, to the University Olympic Stadium; and those from Milpa Alta, to Deportiva Villa Milpa Alta.

Young people will have to have their vaccination record printed, which they can download at mivacuna.salud.gob.mx, in addition to the fact that they must have received their first dose more than 21 days ago.

Until this Thursday, 14 million 901 thousand 495 vaccines against SARS-CoV-2 had been applied, of which 7 million 662 thousand 171 are first dose; 6 million 808 thousand 840 second dose; and 790,304 of third dose reinforcements.
