Sebastian Vettel has a covid-19. Hülkenberg will replace him in Bahrain – F1sport.cz

Daniel Ricciardo did not feel well during the tests. He was eventually found to have tested positive for covid-19. But now it is all right and Bahrain will take part in the upcoming opening grand prize.

However, Sebastian Vettel has the opposite concern. The day before the first practice, Aston Martin announced that Vettel had a positive test and would not take part in the race. For Vettel, this will be the first weekend since the start of the 2007 season that he will miss.

Vettela will replace Aston’s reserve driver Nico Hülkenberg, who last competed in the Eifel Grand Prix 2020. In the 2020 season, the German represented Racing Point drivers (Pérez and Stroll) in three weekends, who also tested positive for covid-19.
