Sebastian Marx: Bringing French Comedy to America

Established in France for more than fifteen years, Sebastian Marx had time to observe the cultural differences between his country of origin, the United States, and his country of adoption. They have become the inspiration for his various shows. Cooking, grammar, little habits, everything goes, and it gives a stand up show as funny for Francophile Americans as for French people who love derision.

We will be able to appreciate his keen sense of observation and comparisons during his visit to New York in July, and to California in September. He will perform on Thursday July 27 at the Kraine Theater of New Yorkon Wednesday, September 20 at Guild Theater in Menlo Park and Thursday, September 21 at Swedish American Hall To San Francisco to present his new show “On est bien là”.

Sebastian Marx cut his teeth in New York as a comedian at Caroline’s Comedy Club in New York from the age of 17. After studying cinema in Boston, he moved to France. In 2010, he made his first show in French, while launching the “New York Comedy Night”, the first comedy set in English in Paris. Spotted during his time at the Jamel Comedy Club, he was also a columnist on Europe 1 and France Inter.

Sebastian Marx will perform his show in French.
