Sebastian Eriyangalath becomes the new pastor of the parish federation Beno. These are the parishes of Nederweert, Nederweert-Eind, Budschop and Ospel. That was announced in the relevant churches this weekend. He is still chaplain in seven parishes in Landgraaf.
Sebastian Eriyangalath
Sebastian Eriyangalath (1974) is from Kerala in India. He was ordained a priest there in 2000. He worked for several years in different parishes and followed an additional study of catechesis before coming to the Netherlands. Since 2017 he has been active as a priest in the diocese of Roermond. The first year he was chaplain in the so-called VOMMMM parishes (Venzelderheide, Ottersum, Mook, Middelaar, Molenhoek and Milsbeek) in the deanery of Venray. In 2018, Eriyangalath was appointed chaplain in the parishes of Schaesberg, Nieuwenhagen and Nieuwenhagerheide in Landgraaf.
He is now appointed pastor of the parishes H. Lambertus in Nederweert, H. Gerardus Majella in Nederweert-Eind, H. Rochus in Budschop and Our Lady Immaculately Received in Ospel. His appointment will take effect in the course of this spring. An exact date has yet to be determined by mutual agreement.
