She noted that all on-site staff will have vaccinated against or contracted Covid-19, although the bank is still awaiting clarification on whether on-site banking will only be available to residents who have been vaccinated or have contracted Covid-19.

“Currently, the vast majority of banking services are available to customers remotely – via Internet banking or by contacting a bank specialist in a video consultation, so we really invite you to carefully assess the need to visit the bank in person. to choose the most convenient time to visit and not wait in line, “says Arnis Škapars, Member of the Board of SEB banka.

According to him, this is a very successful practice, which is appreciated by clients and will continue to do so in the long run. “If, however, there is an urgent need to resolve your issue in person, we can now say that customers in SEB banka branches can feel 100% safe, because all employees who serve customers in person have been vaccinated or become ill with Covid-19,” Škapars added.

The bank will contact the clients who have a valid appointment for a face-to-face meeting at the branch individually to discuss the possibilities to receive the required service.

It is also reminded that during the video consultation, SEB banka customers can receive information about various daily financial and banking services, such as reviews, payment cards, authentication tools and others. During the video consultation, you can also amend the agreements and change the limits, as well as talk about savings, including pension savings and insurance, as well as receive home loan advice.

The bank draws attention to the fact that the government’s decision stipulates that separate flows of people who will be vaccinated against Covid-19 or those who have had it and those who have not been vaccinated or tested will have to be organized in shopping centers from October 11. Depending on how the shopping centers organize this, this may mean limited access to SEB banka’s ATMs located in the shopping centers.

Currently, 118 cash withdrawal ATMs and 92 cash deposit / withdrawal ATMs are available in the SEB banka network throughout Latvia. Some of them are located in shopping malls, shops and other premises. The list of ATMs is available on SEB banka’s website. The bank’s customers can also withdraw cash free of charge at all “Swedbank“at ATMs.

SEB banka customers can also withdraw cash at almost 250 different points of sale throughout Latvia. Most of them are small shops both in Riga and in the regions. At points of sale, up to 100 euros can be withdrawn at the same time as the purchase.

As reported, the government decided on Friday, October 11, to declare a state of emergency for three months.

As a result, a number of restrictions will come into force to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
