Geno Smith, who is filling in for the injured starting quarterback Russell Wilson, led the Seattle Seahawks to victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars 7-31, reaching his third victory in week 8 of the NFL.
Smith scored on the ground once, in addition to throwing a pair of touchdown passes, with extraordinary efficiency, completing 20 of 24 completions, without interceptions.
Smith’s 2 touchdown passes went to his star receiver, DK Metcalf, who had 6 receptions and 43 yards. The busiest receiver in the game, however, was Tyler Lockett, who reached 142 yards on 13 receptions.

The Jaguars do not raise their heads, and add their sixth loss of the season, having only won one game after 8 weeks of action.
Jaguars rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence completed 32 of 54 completions, with a touchdown pass and an interception.

Receiver Jamal Agnew was in charge of scoring the only touchdown for Jacksonville, who are penultimate in the South Division of the American Conference. For its part, Seattle is not going through a good time either, being last of the western division of the National Conference.
