Seattle has an overall score of 51.7. It ranks 4th in the category of «Percentage of residents within a 10-minute walk of a park»meaning Seattleites are never too far from a grassy green space. The city also ranks 24th in the category «Number of trails»Seattle has great hiking, trekking, and biking trails within the city.
The «Proportion of land used for parks and recreation activities»category ranks 68th. And best of all, Seattle has the third “Largest number of public parks”across the country. In fact, it ranks third only behind New York and Chicago.
