Seating controversy at mother meeting; Reply by Rachana Narayanankutty

The inauguration of the headquarters of ‘Amma’, an organization of actors in Malayalam cinema, took place on February 6. After many months, it was a venue where Amma’s members got together with superstars including Mammootty and Mohanlal. Pictures of the stars and the inauguration went viral on social media, as well as some criticism on social media.

Criticisms were raised that women members of the organization were not given chairs at the inaugural function. Now, actress and Amma’s new executive committee member Rachana Narayanankutty has come up with an answer to such criticism. The author responded to the criticism through a Facebook post.

“Some people are like that, evil eyes! Those who see only wrong in anything. Critical intelligence is good, but it should be. But it is not wrong to think that it is for the right thing. When you come up with something out of the ordinary, then they have to re-think their position and say, “I’m sorry to hear that.” The other is the ones you tried to put through a Facebook post. This performance can be called Senseless. You may have seen idols falling again and again. Our goal is to never fall. Don’t help but hurt, ”says the author.
