The corona year 2020 has by no means been a setback for Marc Hirschi.
The Swiss, in his second year with the pros, completely exploded during the Tour de France.
Hirschi became 2nd in Nice and 3rd in Laruns after attacking work, but in Sarran he still managed to win after a tough solo.
The winner of the Super Fighting Spirit was not quenched after the Tour, quite the contrary.
At the World Championships in Imola he became 3rd, last week he won the Flèche Wallonne and yesterday he became 2nd in Liège-Bastogne-Liège after a tumultuous sprint.
The Ardennes classic has also been his last race of the season, the Swiss confirms on Instagram. He is looking forward to a few days without a bike.
