Monday started the preparation of the new season for the workforce of the pennant team, gathered at the club house. After welcoming everyone, President Florian Aït-Ali points out that “a new page is turning” and that all the choices have been made for a great season: a quality workforce, a new coach, “a crazy staff”…
The first speech of the new coach
He advises players to “not set limits”. After a presentation of the administrative function of Mickaël Coste, the new coach Yannick Blanchard addresses the players. He recalls that all were selected “for their spirit, their level and their desire to progress further”. He recalls that his choice to coach Colomiers is also a personal commitment. He insists on communication, the role of captains as facilitators. After recalling the basic rules which are fundamental to the life and cohesion of a group, he ends with the wish for all “to have fun and to give it” with a thought to the volunteers, these pillars of a club.
Particular attention is paid to physical preparation. Leslie Djones and Louan Téhar in charge of this mission have specified their availability. Philippe Briançon, deputy mayor in charge of sport, insisted by his presence to assure the club of the support of the city. Now on to the field.
