Viewers can look forward to a breathtaking season full of unpredictable twists, dramatic turns, emotional conflicts and reconciliations. That can be read in the press release.
Good times Bad Times closes last season with a catastrophic pile-up that grips the whole of Meerdijk after the wedding of Laura and Henk. In the foggy night after the love affair, the inhabitants of Meerdijk are plunged into complete chaos. With cars entangled and wreckage scattered across the road, the viewer is left with nothing but an ominous atmosphere of fear and uncertainty. Who survives the accident, who does not, and what is the aftermath of this catastrophe?
We know for sure that one character was spared. Nola is safely at home on the couch at the time of the accident and sees images of the pile-up on the news, in which her parents may be involved. While she watches TV, the doorbell rings. Who is at the door and with what message?
However, nothing can be concluded from the new cast photo, because everyone is equally radiant:
“The summer cliffhanger of GTST is always an exciting moment for our loyal viewers and every year we are tasked with creating something unforgettable,” said Idse Grotenhuis, creative producer at Good times.
“The traffic crash is an enormous shock in Meerdijk and will propel the storylines for the upcoming season in an explosive way. In the new season we will once again drag the viewers on a rollercoaster of emotions, in which love, betrayal, secrets and heartbreaking choices are central The consequences of the accident will have a profound impact on the lives of the Meerdijkers and their mutual relationships.”
Good times Bad Times can now be streamed a week ahead on Videoland and can be seen every Monday to Thursday at 8 p.m. on RTL 4 from August 28.
