Who is the father of Charmaine’s babies?
Another big reveal in season 5 is the true identity of the father of Charmaine’s twins. In a surprising twist, gang leader Calvin, thought dead, reappears at the fair and tells Charmaine: “I want to be a father to my boys.”
Once again, Charmaine has made the situation worse, because this revelation will only inflame the existing conflict between Calvin and Jack. It appears that Charmaine chose to tell Jack that the twins were his because she wanted a stable and caring father figure for her boys.

What body was found after the fire?

Season 5 offers disturbing suspense, with firefighters discovering a body after controlling the fire. Fortunately, the natural disaster did not claim the lives of any of the main characters. Instead, this body appears to have been buried long before the tragedy.
There is officially only one body buried in this area, that of Paige’s abusive ex-husband Wes, whom she accidentally killed, and whom Preacher helped her hide.

Of course, just when Preacher’s love life is stabilizing, his new girlfriend’s co-workers find the body of the man he had buried for his ex-girlfriend. Will this guy ever get lucky? After the fair, the story jumps forward four months and Mel and Jack begin Christmas decorations. While Mel talks on the phone with her sister, a final bombshell is dropped about her past.

Joey reveals that she found letters their mother wrote to a man before she died, who just so happens to be from Virgin River, California. But that’s not all. Joey also suspects that this mysterious man could possibly be Mel’s father.
Now, there aren’t many men old enough to be Mel’s father in the town of Virgin River, at least those we’ve already met, which begs the question: who could it be?

Since Vernon already had a hidden son, revealed when his grandson, Denny, arrived in Season 4, it seems unlikely that he could have had another child that we don’t know about. Plus, the coincidence of Mel accidentally working for her father in a remote town is too big, but many fans believe it. It looks like everything will be revealed in the next two episodes, which will be released on Netflix on November 30.
